Home & Family

We are proud to announce some exciting changes for the Home & Family exhibits and programs in 2017. Exhibits this year will focus on the two most popular areas: Photography and Quilts.

The Watertown Winter Farm Show will be awarding one top prize ($50 in Watertown Bucks) in each of the following four categories: Adult Photography, Junior Photography, Adult Quilts and Junior Quilts. Contestants may enter up to three exhibits in each applicable category. The Junior category is for individuals ages 18 and younger. Youth may not exhibit in the Adult category.

Entries for the show must be made Friday, February 3, 2017 between 2:00-4:00 p.m. or Monday, February 6, 2017 between 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Park & Rec Fieldhouse at 1900 West Kemp in Watertown. Please refer to the Home & Family Exhibit Guidelines for more information about entering an exhibit.

In addition to the photography and quilt exhibits, daily education programs and hands-on classes are scheduled focusing on topics such as gardening, canning and freezing, healthcare, and more. Make & Take classes will give you the opportunity to create goat soap, chalk paint frames, stained glass creations, cinch bags, and wood magnets. Each have a small fee to cover materials. Admission to the Watertown Winter Farm Show is free.
